Data deletion

If you previously authorised Athlete Insights to read your Instagram statistics and want your data removed from our systems, you have two options.

Option 1 — Revoke access in Instagram

  1. Open Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites.
  2. Find "Athlete Insights".
  3. Tap Remove.

This stops us from fetching any further data, but does not delete statistics we have already stored. To delete those too, also use Option 2.

Option 2 — Request full deletion (recommended)

Send an email to peterthorlund@hotmail.com with:

  • Your Instagram username
  • Subject line: Data deletion request

We will delete all data within 7 days and confirm by email. What gets deleted:

  • Your Instagram username, name and account identifier
  • All stored statistics snapshots (followers, reach, impressions)
  • All per-post snapshots
  • The encrypted access token associated with your account

Note: we cannot recall PDF reports that have already been generated and distributed by your manager.
